380-kV-Weinviertel-Line
In 2019, Austrian subsidiary VLB Leitungsbau, has been awarded a contract by Austrian Power Grid AG (APG) to build a new 380-kV overhead line along a section of the Weinviertel route. The contract covers the construction of a new 2-system 380-kV overhead line on the route between Prottes and Neusiedl an der Zaya and the dismantling of the existing 220-kV overhead line. VLB Leitungsbau’s highly-experienced installation team will be installing a total of 81 steel towers incl. the foundations and over 450 km of 380-kV- conductors.

380-kV-Wesel-Meppen-Line
In 2018, German subsidiary Powerlines Energy Germany, was contracted by Amprion GmbH to reconstruct the existing 220-kV transmission line, upgrading it to a 380-kV-overhead line. Once completed, this new 380-kV-overhead line will become one of the major main axes for the transport of electricity from Northern to Southern Germany.

The contract covered the dismantling of existing 220-kV overhead line incl towers and foundations and the construction of the complete new 220-kV overhead line with 133 towers and foundations along the 34km long construction lot.

110/220/380kV Wittenhorst-Lackhausen-line
Also in 2018, Powerlines Energy Germany was contracted by Amprion GmbH to rebuild one construction lot in the 110/220/380kV Wittenhorst to Lackhausen overhead line section as a part of a major reconstruction project.
